Our Logo
Since our establishment in 1992, we have always proudly displayed the life ring as our logo. This was initially because it was classic sea themed imagery. However, it was remaining as just imagery with anyone not familiar with us. While that life ring has remained roughly the same for the past 32 years, we felt it no longer accurately reflects the company we have grown into. We have always put pride in our seafarers and so wanted to focus on that in our new logo.
So how have we changed the logo? Rather than totally abandoning our life ring, we wanted to try preserve it in one way or another. While our colour scheme may change here and there, our core logo still bears the colours and pattern of the life ring, with a white ring and 4 red stripes. We have also changed the ring to be made of people. While a simple change, it makes the logo much more distinct and better show our commitment to our seafarers and the people we work with. Now those two changes really allow us to take elements of our old logo and make it more than just a life ring, now it’s something recognisable and distinct. In essence, it’s the same dedicated team you know and trust, but with a more Seamariner-inspired look!
Our Website
Our website has had many iterations over the years, ranging from a simple jobs forum when we started, all the way to having job listings, candidate profiles and a bio page for each of our staff. Now, we have decided to take that progression to the next step. Our latest website has integration with our modern candidate management system, allowing us to display jobs in real time, along with allowing candidates to set up profiles and send files directly to there account on our system.
All applications, files and jobs are tied directly to our records, so there are no emails or miscommunications, if you apply, you are simply right there next to the job. This was a much needed improvement from our previous website, as everything existed separately and required us to perform manual input. If you have worked with us since early 2022, you will already have an account on our system. You will just need to use the email address you have given us and add a memorable password. This will then let you update your profile with us at any time. Additionally, if you are unable to see any certificates you know we have, don’t worry! For security, only certain files are visible on our website, so we just haven’t gotten around to making your files visible!
Outside of functionality, our new website has had a total overhaul in its artistic direction to better match our new logo and branding, all courtesy of our collaboration with our local web design company: ZAP Creative.
